E4 Computer Engineering is strongly committed to the study of RISC-V technologies combined with the high-performance computing industry.
There are currently several projects involving this technology funded by Italian Center for Super Computing with multiple purposes such as: validating hardware configurations where RISC-V is used as an accelerator or host system. To evaluate the performance in terms of power consumption and time-to-solution comparing them with similar x86 systems. Doing porting of scientific codes in astrophysics and cosmology. This talk will discuss individual projects and initial results obtained.
